ReCreation
From The Lurkers
Two men struggle with loss in this brief tale that borrows from elements of H. P. Lovecraft's short novel The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath.
"ReCreation" is a simple and short story, about one man confronting his best friend to help resolve a loss they've both suffered. But we couldn't not put a supernatural element in there.
In this case, a distinctly Lovecraftian element...
One of the things few people realize is that Lovecraft was, among other things, a scientist. Although much of cosmological knowledge was of neccesity still budding, he explored it as well as the inner realms of dream and terror. As an appetizer to the concepts we introduce in ReCreation, may I recommend this little essay: Hyperspace and a Theory of Everything, which was forwarded to me by Erik Chevalier.
