From The Lurkers
Director
Some people may not be aware that Stuart first gained notoriety at the University of Wisconsin for staging a nude, psychedelic version of "Peter Pan" and went on to form the Organic Theatre in 1969, directing dozens of interesting plays, including "Bleacher Bums" and David Mamet's "Sexual Perversity in Chicago." In 1985 he made his film director debut with Re-Animator. He returned to Lovecraft again for From Beyond, then went on to do Dolls, Robot Jox, The Pit and the Pendulum, and Fortress. Gordon also co-wrote the story of Honey, I Shrunk the Kids and was co-executive producer on its sequel, Honey, I Blew Up the Kid. More recently Stuart directed Dagon and Dreams in the Witch House.
